Development & Launch Timing Things are really heating up in the IGC tech room! I’ve been in regular meetings with the Bamboo development team, and all signs point to us staying on track for a December/January launch. Our goal is to push for release as soon as possible ideally before Christmas followed by a soft launch phase to resolve any bugs and fine-tune performance before we scale up marketing efforts. We’re realistic that the festive season can be a quieter time for engagement, but that’s perfectly fine. Getting the platform live is the priority, and we’ll use the new year momentum to amplify growth and awareness.
New Feature Spotlight: AR Hearts Yes, I love experimenting with new ideas — and this one’s especially fun! We’ve built AR Hearts, which allow users to personalize a 3D heart with their name (or a loved one’s), then place it anywhere in the world by longitude, latitude, and altitude — using IGC points. It’s another exciting real-world use case for our tokens — a blend of sentiment, creativity, and blockchain utility.
Retail Signboards Our new retailer signboards are almost finalized (see attached visuals). They’re looking fantastic and will play a big role in in-store visibility and brand recognition.
Keeping with the festive spirit, we’ll be deploying AR elves, Santas, and reindeer across test zones to trial our “Load Your Own AR” functionality. Expect some fun surprises as we validate system performance in live conditions!
November will be a big networking month here in Sydney. I’ll be attending multiple crypto and tech events to showcase IGC and connect with exchanges and strategic partners ahead of launch.
Marketing & Growth Activities Here’s what’s lined up across our marketing channels: Email Blast: Partnering with aligned databases (100K+ retailers) to activate marketplace promos. Social Media Ads: All videos prepared and ready for boosting on Instagram and TikTok. Public Relations: Press materials finalized and PR ready to deploy. AdWords / ASO: App Store Optimization and ad campaigns in place. We’ll soon invite community members to leave positive app reviews — your support will mean a lot! Email Templates: Designed and ready for outreach. Retail Onboarding: Multiple retailers already signing up and preparing promo codes. Marketplace Verification: “Published by Simon” now live, with a blue-tick-style verification coming soon. Enterprise Demo: A digital pop-up demo is now integrated in the app as a sales tool for enterprise retailers.
Final Thoughts I’m thoroughly enjoying this stage of the journey building not just a blockchain company, but a mainstream loyalty platform powered by blockchain technology in the background.
