Aussie metaverse company IGC picked in top 50 retail tech list

IGC is gearing up for a big year after being picked as one of the US National Retail Federation’s top 50 retail start ups. Sydney-based augmented reality treasure hunt company iHunt4 is ready to crack the lucrative US market after being selected to host a prominent display at the US National Retail Federation’s Big Show in New York next month. “Getting selected as one of the top start-ups to watch at retail’s largest event is a huge step forward for iHunt4 and reaffirms all the work we’ve been doing up until this point,” iHunt4 CEO Simon Church said. “Cryptocurrency has been around for a while but it’s only really in the last twelve to eighteen months that we’ve seen more and more everyday people buying crypto for the first time, and likewise, we expect interest in the metaverse to grow exponentially. “This represents a huge opportunity for retailers to get their brand in front of consumers in a fun and edgy way whilst also giving players the chance to earn cryptocurrency and own real estate.” iHunt4 operates an augmented reality platform that encourages users to walk around cities hunting for prizes such as cryptocurrency and promotions for local businesses. It’s a concept that expands on the ideas of popular augmented reality mobile app Pokemon Go in which local retailers could purchase in-game items to attract customers to their physical stores. But iHunt4 also plugs into the growing demand for cryptocurrency and the emerging web3 metaverse through its token In Game Credit (IGC) which is tradable on certain Ripple (XRP) exchanges. The inclusion of cryptocurrency rewards is aimed at incentivising users by giving them digital assets that could be exchanged for real-world money. New South Wales Treasurer Matt Kean said he was keen to see iHunt4 travel to the US and show off its product developed in Sydney. “IGC is levelling up and taking Hornsby to the Big Apple,” he said. “I want to congratulate Simon and his team for what they have achieved.” While in the US, Church and his team will also be heading to CES 2022 in Las Vegas.  The world-famous consumer technology conference will be a place for iHunt4 to network and hopefully expand its business. “We’ll be meeting with multiple cities groups and business chambers as we take our roadshow across the states next year,” said Mr Church. “The US represents a much larger market than here at home so we’re focusing on going big over there with a plan to scale up and take on global partnerships in Australia, Europe and Asia in coming years.” In a video posted to social media, Church said the company was partnering with a US city – though he has not named it yet. According to Church, the city tapped iHunt4 as part of its COVID recovery plan and will use treasure hunts to help local retailers encourage walk-in traffic using in-built rewards. Source Related Games

Best Play to Earn Games

Best Play To Earn Games (IGC) This week we have been testing out the new API’s that help to facilitate the common functions we have across the IGC games mix. We operate on the XRPL a fantastic blockchain for its reliability speed and low cost transaction (Gas) fees. Lets go through some highlights and testing from this week.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OtNYVtnwF8Qhttps://youtu.be/SEdCEe3KpxY Preparing for release we are testing the reusable module aspects on iHunt4.com an AR global treasure hunt. These features are available in our module that can be applied to games using the $IGC ecosystem. In this example see the counter top right is 1805 IGC. After the daily reward we can see the amount change. This can be controlled across all our APPs by our backend. And if you wish and have connected your Xumm or Xiaman or whatever its called now you can withdraw to your wallet.  https://youtu.be/_WneiedwgN0 In this next test we are testing the iHunt4 levels feature. The concept here is for the players to spend a small amount of IGC in this case it is 50 IGC$ to play the AR level however if they complete the level our new feature will reward them with a certain amount. All of which we can specify in the back end to multiple games. In this demonstration we will be spending 50 IGC and if we find the treasure the reward will be 1000 $IGC. This week we have removed the confirm button to improve the UI. We have also been polishing the watch 3 videos to earn $IGC and testing in real time the withdrawals on the XRPL blockchain. Next week we are working on the discount corner, reusable module testing on our own internal mini games, documentation and improved UI for the levels winning flow for the further release of iHunt4 with some mini games to test the infrastructure. All in all looking forward to pumping out some games, getting them into the public domain, releasing more iHunt as we ramp up the campaign.  XRPL is working like a treat with the testing and is the cornerstone for our products.

Crypto Gaming

Weekly progress update on all things IGC (In Game Credit) Crypto Gaming Most significant this week is the listing of $IGC on the special platform called SWFT All Chain Bridge. In the background we were working with their team across the globe on the listing which was very smooth and a good team to work with.  The reason why we selected this platform is for an easy route for new players to convert their btc, eth, bnb across to the XRPL. We went ahead and video tested the first transaction from metamask to Xumm and as you can see from the video its not very complicated to swap eth to IGC. It took a few minutes to process and for us XRPL users we are used the the speed four minutes was an eternity. I guess we are dealing with multiple platforms and chains. More XRPL projects may want to consider this to open up some liquidity to the XRPL space. It still uses XRP on the ledger to purchase off the dex so its a win win. https://youtu.be/saKg_sZZq6Y Our reusable game module is looking sweet and we should begin the testing of the asset across multiple games in the next few weeks. We have been reworking some of the features from iHunt4 so they are more compatible across a variety of games. Some of the games are pretty basic but its the functionality and rollout we are monitoring.  We have also been adding additional API calls so we can add additional features such as using IGC to unlock certain features or levels within the games. This all adds to the utility.  Continue to work with games suppliers who we can partner with to add the IGC to their existing games.  Bit of Website work this week such as applying this blog feature where we will provide regular updates.  In the near future our roadmap is to roll out the module to several mini games, release iHunt4 and use the working model to leverage into large high quality crypto games.

Swft lists IGC

IGC & SWFT to enable players to trade ETH and Bitcoin for IGC using metamask SWFT AllChain Bridge a next generation blockchain company today announced it has listed the crypto currency IGC or In Game Credit on its state of the art exchange platform. This exciting development for IGC means that players from around the world can use the platform to swap over 350 cryptocurrencies to IGC with only a few simple clicks.    “Players using metamask can now easily obtain IGC and eliminate the process of buying XRP and swapping on a decentralised exchange. XRP is still used to acquire the IGC although this is performed by smart AI and SWFT processes the functions in the backend” mentioned Simon Church from IGC.   The team at SWFT AllChain Bridge have organised a special widget that will be embedded into the IGC system enabling players to use a variety of wallets. Popular wallets such as metamask can be used to swap popular currencies such as Etherium or Bitcoin to gain access to the IGC token.   “We are pleased to be able to offer another alternative way for players to access the IGC token. As we roll out our gaming assets we look for simple alternatives to offer to the customer base” Mentioned Simon Church  Etherium and Bitcoin are very popular blockchains and common wallet tools such as metamask are often used to hold these cryptocurrencies. The listing of IGC on the SWFT AllChain Bridge now makes it  easier for players to exchange over 350 cryptocurrencies in a way they are familiar with. This takes away the complexity of the player visiting unknown decentralised exchanges to make the trades.  This new addition will enable over 350 new cryptocurrency pairs with IGC and add over 40 new wallets to the combination of swaps.   The team at SWFT AllChain Bridge have provided In Game Credit with a special widget that is embedded so the exchange of IGC can take place within a matter of clicks. This widget will make it smoother and easier for players to use a product they know well such as metamask to obtain IGC through the SWFT AllChain Bridge platform. This exciting news sets IGC in prime position when it releases its multiple games to the blockchain market.

What do game credits do?

The Game Plan IGC (In Game Credit) is a universal gaming token that can be utilized through many games. There are many elements we need to make to achieve this goal from backend infrastructure, selecting the right blockchain to power the digital asset, creating a reusable developers module for the major games platforms and much more. We began building on the XRPL way back in 2021. We have seen many projects come and go and we have a long term strategy to build utility and liquidity on the XRP ledger for many years to come. The team build, buy, sponsor apps and games to expand the ecosystem. Revenue from the multiple revenue streams is fed back into the dex /cex and to further expand the network. Phase One Our flagship game / app iHunt4 is an augmented reality treasure hunt where retailers can place real retail promotions at exact locations. When the player reaches the location they are greeted with an AR and a collectable promotion from the retailer. We demonstrated our product at major shows throughout the USA and signed up many retailers for our release. We took a hit in 2022 with the market frowning on the crypto market and retailers were not as accepting. To combat this we have held the full release of the game while still building dozens of AR designs for when we release the app on a global scale. We will continue to take on beta registered clients and polish the game for the release at the right time.  Phase Two Modules we have never stopped building and started to build phase two which includes replicating the core gaming blockchain features we featured and tested in iHunt4. Such as login, earn, win, withdraw, spend, top up and place them into a replicable packet for our own developers to quickly integrate into games. Mini Games We call them mini games as their sole purpose is to test how cheaply and quickly we can push ready made games into the market then test the backend processes. We will use them as a learning curve to polish the documentation and how from a customer server point of view we can handle the fifty games before we start to scale to hundreds then thousands. These KPIs are important to show how we have performed our research and development to be able to scale the infrastructure. https://youtu.be/R7If2CCADDM The Games We have acquired a wide of ready made games from more AR games, puzzle games, shooter, flight, commando etc. Our intention once the model is proven is high quality games integrations, partnerships and online betting using the $IGC asset. IGC Utility Having the ability to spend $IGC in the games and control the different features through API calls back to our infrastructure is exciting. Games that use IGC where IGC is spent are important. Most impressive is the rules engine we have built for each of the games to withdraw the IGC. Thankfully we made the right choice to select the XRPL and we can process both top up to game and withdrawals almost instantly.  Liquidity Aware of the liquidity issues facing many project on the XRPL and part of our plan is to help onboard new users to the XRPL through our series of integrated games. We have set up methods through our games where players may earn their $IGC and if they wish to withdraw to move their $IGC around then educational steps to set up the correct wallets and trustlines.  As the world or cryptocurrencies continues to grow many new users begin by starting on popular blockchains like ethereum or bitcoin and they use the standard tools like Metamask & Uniswap. Unfortunately they then are faced with horrendously slow blockchain transactions and HUGE gas fees taking away the excitement of a transaction. For converted uses who use products like Xumm they never look back. We have an uphill battle with helping newbies understand things like trustlines and ways to purchase.  Our mission is to easily convert newbies onto the XRP ledger so they see the benefits like speed, security and low costs. The Future $IGC running through thousands of apps and games, using our platform infrastructure to power the core functions. This week to achieve this we were working on our multi games module/API calls, demonstrations, applied for some launch accelerators, in negotiations with a games supplier. Collaboration with other XRPL projects. Created the new games logos and applied the pretty new logos to the home page here.  The most exciting events this week were… In negotiations with two online casinos. In talks with lawyers regarding jurisdiction for gambling sites. We have been working with a solution provider where we will apply a widget to our websites where users can exchange $ETH $BTC and many others directly for $IGC in turn creating an easier ways for users to obtain $IGC to be used in the IGC ecosystem. To be announced shortly! However if a player holds any of the 800+ cryptocurrencies they can gain $IGC very simply. One thing that excites me the most is the simplicity of moving $IGC in and out of games. It is just brilliant and sooo fast on the XRPL.  Video Short insider video by Mason LightHouse productions the videographer for many of the popular in Xumm videos. We plan to release this in conjunction with a few of the releases. Acquiring and partnering with larger studios. Campaigns to accelerate our growth major releases and partnerships. The most impressive part of our technology is what we have built on-top of the XRPL as we use it to run a fantastic “In Game Credit” system. Once we have proven our model we will use investment to expand the ecosystem.   Anyways till next week. Simon & the crew
